The team at Lexford set out to honor the neighborhood’s surroundings through enduring architecture balanced with the comfort and ease of a modern home.

The brand’s name and visual identity pay homage to the property, which was once home to the Church of Tomorrow. Lex nods to Reverend Alexander, the church’s founder, while ford means “to cross a river.”

Inspired by engraved typefaces and the church’s distinct shape, the logo includes a footbridge planned for the property, accompanied by the creek and stems of Blue Wild Indigo—a native plant intended for the landscaping.
