Cooper House is looking for a full-time marketing assistant to join our creative team.
As the Cooper House marketing assistant, you will support branding and marketing campaigns by conducting research, communicating with team members, and assisting with production of relevant materials. This includes client facing work as well as internal marketing projects.
Most of our team works remotely, so it’s essential that you can understand and relay relevant information quickly and correctly. You’ll also represent the company in meetings and will need to present a professional and polished appearance.
You’ll need to regularly collaborate with our team and communicate with clients, so strong verbal communication skills are crucial. You’ll need a willingness to research new industries and methods to ensure we’re presenting the best possible information to our clients. Analytical skills are also crucial in assessing research and making recommendations.
Being organized and process-focused—while not being afraid to make suggestions for efficiency—is key.
Overall, we’re a tight-knit team that loves good design, great conversation, and a jaunt to the coffee shop (just around the corner from our office). This role has a lot of room for growth as our agency expands to include more national clients—we’re looking for someone who can grow and build with us.
The position is full time and includes a combination of in-office meetings, out-of-office meetings, remote work, and potentially infrequent travel.
2 – 5 years of work experience in administrative / marketing with a strong passion and aptitude for communication.

Working knowledge of the design and marketing industry.
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously over long periods, prioritize and reprioritize projects in response to changing needs of the agency.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be able to problem-solve and reason through issues and problems.
Must be able to deal effectively and tactfully with leadership, contractors, and vendors.
Working knowledge of Google Suite, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail.
Must be able to lift boxes or materials 25-30 lbs. when necessary.
Must be able to work in an office environment.
Must be able to commute to various client sites around Oklahoma City.
Must be able to dress in a professional manner.
Must be able to work remotely. Must have remote workstation capability with laptop, internet, video-call capabilities, and phone.
Responsibilities Will Include
Calendar & Scheduling
(Scheduling all meetings and coordinating attendance)
Research & Analysis
(Gathering information about clients, organizations, industries and vendors. Providing reports on findings.)
(Updating client profiles in PM system, gathering pertinent details for project scoping, researching potential clients)
(Taking notes, posting in Slack)
Proposal and Presentation preparation
(Editing shared docs and slideshow, typing assistance, sending to printers, picking up and delivering to clients)
Maintain Vendor Database
(Obtaining estimates and filing information for scoping projects)
Manage Internal Marketing Projects
(Coordinating updates, scheduling vendors, preparing reports.)
